Space exploration – Science – Aviation – Armed Forces

When I’m not writing this blog, I serve as an officer in the U.S. Air Force Reserve. I’ve flown as a navigator for over 10 years in peacetime and combat.  I’ve flown on Boeing T-43 Gator, Beechcraft T-1 Jayhawk, Boeing E-3B/C Sentry (AWACS), and Lockheed-Martin C-130E/H Hercules aircraft.

I am a passionate advocate of STEM education and space exploration. I belong to a number of organizations that promote the development of space industries and operations, including The Planetary Society, The Mars Society, and the National Space Society.  I volunteer as a public outreach ambassador for the Suborbital Applications Research Group, which is working to secure scientific payloads to fly on commercial suborbital spacecraft.

    • It’s rather extremely competitive, if for no other reason as there is but one 2-seat fighter left in USAF Service (The Boeing F-15E Strike Eagle). But don’t let that dissuade you from trying!
